South Africa continues to sustain national, regional and continental economies with current and new investment opportunities increasingly prevalent. Between 1994 and 2009 South Africa  and  Canada have shared significant economic developments through import and export markets.

Based on bilateral agreements between our two countries and to bolster our foreign policy since its inception in 2005, the mission in Toronto has continued to advance and promote innovation and economic growth. This includes our enduring promotion of the African Agenda and NEPAD as an integral part of Africa's development agenda, good governance, human rights, enhancement of cultural diversity, tourism and sustainable economic growth.

We invite you to explore our many sectors of rapid development attributed to South Africa's more than fifteen years of solid democracy. We pride ourselves in terms of our strong investments in hospitality and tourism sites, delightful environment and scenic beauty with lots of sunshine, diverse cultures and heritage, diverse wildlife and many more available business opportunities and other pertinent areas of common interest that continue to exist between South Africa and Canada.
