The Consulate General is mainly responsible for promotion of South Africa's economic foreign policy agenda between Canada and South Africa. The Consulate General provides information on South African Government policies that relate to social, political and economic issues that seek to promote the country's 'development' agenda while advising the South African Government and Civil Society on similar trends in Canada.
